BBBS Cold Lake

_K7A9112Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Cold Lake is a charitable non-profit organization that provides positive mentoring relationships for children and youth in our community. BBBS Cold Lake relies on the generosity of the community’s time and resources to ensure that kids who could benefit from an additional caring adult in their life have access to one. BBBS Cold Lake is a satellite of Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area (BGCBigs).

Cold Lake is approximately 294 km (180 miles) northeast of Edmonton. Incorporated in 1996 through amalgamation of the former towns of Grand Centre, Cold Lake and Medley (Canadian Forces Base 4 Wing), Cold Lake became a city in 2000. The three main industries in the area are military, oil and gas and tourism.
