DONATION OPTIONS

When you donate to Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area, you join our cause and directly support children and youth in our community. No matter how little or big the amount, donating can start making a difference in the lives of young people around you.

One-time Giving

Your financial support makes you a part of our family, helping to transform the lives of children and youth in your community and put them on a path to a brighter future.

Monthly Giving

Each month, your generous commitment to our cause will help support a mentoring match – a match that can start paving the way for a young person to succeed in school and in life.

Planned Giving

Start putting your trust in us—literally. Making us a part of your trust, bequest or endowment can start many years of giving.

Your legacy can have an impact, too. A planned gift to BGCBigs ensures the continuation of our landmark mentoring programs and creates your own legacy of support. Planned giving also offers significant advantages, including tax breaks and a potential income increase.

Host a Fundraiser

BGCBigs is fortunate to have companies and individuals that go out of their way to coordinate fundraisers on our behalf.

Clothing Donations

Through bins across the city of Edmonton, you can donate your gently used clothing and small household items for a great cause.

Stocks & Securities

Start helping young people profit. Many donors are now making gifts to us in the form of stocks, bonds and mutual funds. You invest. A young person profits. It’s that simple. By making a donation in the form of stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other appreciated securities, you are making an investment in the future of children and youth in your community.

As a donor, you are entitled to take a charitable deduction for the full fair-market value of appreciated securities held longer than one year, and you usually avoid paying the capital gains tax that would be due if you sold the securities.
