These free sessions are intended to provide parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members with basic information about addiction and mental health challenges that can impact children and youth.

Navigating Challenges and Relationships
Do you find that your child struggles to find solutions when a conflict arises? Are you hoping to support some more independence in their problem solving abilities? Allow us to show you some simple steps for breaking down problems and finding solutions with your children. Learn from your peers in regards to what has worked for them and discuss how you can best collaborate with your family.

The world is dealing with levels of stress and anxiety that have not been experienced previously. This workshop will discuss what parents can do to help their teen’s build resiliency and coping skills and how parents can and should do the same for themselves.

Supporting Self-Regulation
This session is for both caregivers and teens together (Grades 7-12).
Do you wish you have more information to help elementary aged children handle strong emotions? Did you know that self-regulation is an essential element to lifelong success? This session will define self-regulation and how it is used in everyday life. It will provide a helpful review regarding the development of self-regulation in children. The strategies and resources provided will empower and foster caregivers’ essential skills to increase children’s mental health and resiliency.
