Host a Fundraiser

Make a Difference & Have Fun

Each year groups and individuals, just like YOU, take it upon themselves to host fundraisers to help make BGCBigs’ programming possible. Event examples include 50/50s, client appreciation events, silent auctions, donations in lieu of gifts, and so much more!

The Process

We’re here to make planning and hosting your fundraiser as easy as possible. Our detailed handbooks will help you every step of the way.

Come up with your fundraising idea!

This is the fun part. Fundraisers can be as big or small, and as creative as you’d like. You may want to host a bottle drive at your school or host a client appreciation gala; the possibilities are endless and the choice is yours!

Read and review the applicable handbook.

We have a number of handbooks below suited to different types of fundraisers. They include important information about who we are and tools for planning a successful event. We offer the following handbooks:

Corporate Fundraising Guide: This handbook is perfect for small businesses or large corporations that may be looking to take a different approach to existing corporate events or looking for ways to increase their charitable giving without having to plan a major event (e.g. an office wide 50/50).

Social Fundraising Guide: This guide is perfect for community members looking to raise funds for our agency in a social setting. Examples include donations in lieu of birthday or wedding gifts, bottle drives, etc.

Youth Fundraising Guide: This handbook was created especially for the philanthropic youth in our lives. Whether they’re running a lemonade stand, hosting a silent auction, or anything in between, this guide is the perfect starting point!

Community Fundraising Guide: This handbook is for everyone else. If you don’t feel like your fundraising idea fits into any of the categories mentioned above, please start here.
