Today’s news release from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada reports that 77% of working Canadians would participate if their company provided time off to volunteer. People’s personal lives are just so hectic that many can’t take time away from their families to volunteer. When their workplace releases them for a few hours each week or month, it makes all the difference in the world.
