On Thursday, August 10, 2023, Bird Construction hosted its annual Charity Golf Classic. This year, all funds raised are in support of BGC Strathcona County and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Strathcona County. The tournament was a huge success, raising $51,750 for the two agencies through both the golf tournament and a 50/50 draw. Staff and Board members from BGC Strathcona County and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Strathcona County had the pleasure of setting up at one of the holes to meet all of the golfers and talk about the amazing work each Agency does in the community of Strathcona County.

The funds raised will help both agencies continue to provide vital wrap-around services to the community through safe spaces and positive mentoring relationships for young people.

We are so thankful for the support and partnership with Bird Construction and all their friends and partners who helped raise more than $50,000 for both charities so we can work together to continue supporting and enriching the lives of children, youth, and families of Strathcona County.
