Mary's Story

“Soon after I became a mentor, I wish I’d done it sooner. As a Big Sister, trying new things (like snowshoeing) with my Little Sister and gaining her trust are just two of my favourite things. Bird watching became a favourite activity for Safana on our first visit to my favourite bird sanctuary.

It’s so great to see everything new through her eyes. Volunteering one hour a week as a Big Sister continues to be an incredible, rewarding experience."
