In-School Mentoring

Mentor helps their mentee with school work.

In-School Mentoring

Be a mentor. 1 hour per week. During the school year.

In-School mentoring takes place at select schools across Edmonton during the school year.

You don't need special skills, education, or experience to be a good mentor. All you need to do is show up and be yourself!

  • As an In-School mentor, you’ll be matched with a like-minded mentee and meet once per week for one hour during school time.
  • Each meeting will follow the 20-20-20 model: 20 minutes spent getting to know each other, 20 minutes of academic support, 20 minutes doing a fun activity.

In addition to fostering a friendship, the focus is on literacy and homework support.
