Understanding Autism

Focus is on caregivers of kids and teens (Grades K-12)
People with Autism experience the world differently than others. In this introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) participants will learn how ASD affects the way children and adolescents interpret and interact with the rest of the world and the people in it. Once we understand the core characteristics of ASD we will then learn how to use strategies to support our children’s wellness.
