Club/Out-of-School-Time Volunteers
As a Club/Out-of-School-Time (OST) volunteer, you'll spend time with the kids by playing games or sports, participating in arts and crafts or hands-on activities, helping with homework, baking or assisting with meal prep and supporting our staff.
Our Clubs and OST programs are safe places for kids to go between school and home. We run registered and non-registered programming, provide snacks and hot meals, and schedule fun and educational field trips throughout the year.
Mentees: Kids ages 6 through 18 years old who live, and/or, go to school in the neighbourhood where the Club is located, and who need somewhere safe to go after school.
Mentors: Anyone over the age of 18 who is comfortable hanging out with a group of children and youth.
Minimum Commitment: Minimum of once per week.
Availability: We are looking for consistent volunteers who have availability any day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 2:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
When: During the school year
