Through convenient home pick up and donation bins across the city of Edmonton, you can donate your gently used clothing and small household items for a great cause.
When donations are picked up from your doorstep or a drop-off bin, they are sold to Value Village stores, offering families and individuals inexpensive clothing options, with profits going toward BGCBigs programs.
This fundraiser is run in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vancouver.

Host A Bin
Hosting a donation bin is an easy way to fundraise for your school or non-profit organization. If you have space outside of your school or organization, consider hosting a Clothing Donation Bin! You give us permission and we do the rest. When you host a bin, each bag of donated clothes benefits your school or organization and helps BGCBigs’ community kids as too! Where does the money go?
When donations are picked up from your doorstep or a drop-off bin, BGCBigs sells them to Value Village stores, offering low income families inexpensive options, with profits going toward our mentoring and after school programs. Value Village is a for-profit privately held international secondhand store chain that operates as part of the Savers, Inc. family. Value Village purchases and resells items donated by its nonprofit partners, like BGCBigs – turning otherwise unused items into sustainable revenue that supports their programs and services.
The profit from the sale of donated items benefits BGCBigs mentoring and after school programs for children. We use the funds to recruit, screen and train Volunteers, as well as further develop our programs to meet changing community needs. In other words, your donations help us match at-risk children with positive adult mentors and make sure kids have access to after school programs that help them achieve their full potential.
