This September, turn your gently used books into mentoring opportunities for local children and youth.
Donate your gently used books to BGCBigs this month! Through our partnership with Renew Crew, donated books are collected and converted into funding that supports BGCBigs mentoring and after-school programs.
Give your books a meaningful second chapter and help create opportunities for children and youth to build confidence, develop positive relationships and reach their full potential.

From September 1 through September 30, drop-off your gently used books to BGCBigs' Riverdale office during business hours.
Note: After-hours drop-offs can be left in the BOOK DONATION bin located in front of the office on 89 Street.
Your gently used books are not donated directly to children.
They are converted into funding that helps create mentoring opportunities.
Host a Workplace Book Drive this September
Fill a Box. Build BIG Futures.
Run a Book Drive at your workplace or business this September in support of BGCBigs' BIG Book Giveaway, as we celebrate Big Brothers Big Sisters month.
Invite your employees, customers or community members to bring in their gently used books and fill a collection box at your location. Once your box is full, we'll arrange to collect the books.
It's a simple way to bring your team together, clear some shelves and support mentoring opportunities for local children and youth.
How It Works

Send an email to Danielle.Newman@bgcbigs.ca letting us know you'd like to host a book collection at your workplace or business. - Fill Your Box
Encourage your employees, customers or community to donate their gently used books throughout September. - We'll Collect It
Once your box is full, we'll arrange a convenient time to collect your donated books. - Your Books Become Funding
Renew Crew converts the donated books into funding that supports BGCBigs mentoring and after-school programs.
